The Ultimate Degenerate (1969)

Oh yes the Findlay's have done it again. For those unfamiliar with Michael and Roberta Findlay's body of work in trash cinema. The married couple has released some of the filthiest roughie, sexploitation films known to man.

Amongst the most offensive of Findlay movies is the Flesh trilogy. Kiss Of Her Flesh, Curse Of Her Flesh and Touch Of Her Flesh stars Michael Findlay himself as a sex crazed psychopath with a fetish for torturing and killing sexy young women.

The Ultimate Degenerate is equally depraved. Again Michael Findlay plays the leading degenerate but this time instead of being blind in one eye he is wheelchair bound. The cripple sicko goes by the name of Spencer and Spencer has an underground S&M ring where women are payed handsomely to satisfy Spencer's every need. Lets just say Spencer is into some sick and twisted shit.

The latest addition to Spencer's underground sewer of pleasure is an exhibitionist named Maria. Maria is "sick of New York City and the human garbage that litters the streets" For some cash and kicks she meets up with Spencer's partner Bruno and joins the ring of smut.

Maria is a bit of a nympho already and upon her arrival she is shot up with Spencer's special aphrodisiac drug and becomes more horny then ever. She indulges in lesbian acts which is nothing new to her considering the film opens up with Maria rolling around naked with her heavy breasted roommate. Maria also lays naked on the diner table while Spencer enjoys a meal. She lay with her feet facing Spencer. "I think the smell of feet excites him" but its not long before Maria feels degraded as she is gratuitously sprayed down with whipped cream. Whipped Cream is just one of Spencer's many fetishes and luckily for Maria it is one of the less violent ones.

The film soon sinks further into the depth of the depraved when we are treated to bondage, whips and other things. The most memorable scene shows a woman performing fellatio on a corn on the cob. Spencer has a real love for corn on the cob and he shoves multiple cobs up a girls hoo-ha. Bruno watches the corn festivities in disgust and realizes that his partner is sick beyond repair. Spencer truly is The Ultimate Degenerate.

It all comes to a climax in a trippy, nightmarish art scene with naked babes, more whipped cream, human skulls and murder. The Ultimate Degenerate offers up gas mask villains, hot fire poker torture and plenty of big 60's underwear to hold the attention of the average demented degenerate.

I hold this depraved filth very close to my heart and would like to thank the late Michael Findlay for having a sick enough mind to think this stuff up. The Ultimate Degenerate goes perfect with a side of corn. Sick! Sick! Sick!

Hollywood Babylon (1972)

This 70's softcore smut poses as a documentary on famous Hollywood scandals in the 1920's. The basis is taken from Kenneth Anger's infamous book of the same title but I'm pretty sure this was largely inspired by the 1970 highly controversial film Hollywood Blue which showed political and Hollyood scandals alike.

About half of the film is ancient archival stock footage from the 20's showing the actual stars. The other half is trashy reenactments of the supposed scandals that went down. This of course is just an excuse to show lots of full frontal male and female nudity.

Porno star Uschi Digard shows up for some titty action but there is really nothing to save this movie from being a boring drooler. The best scene is a reenactment of Fatty Arbuckle's scandal but of course this is fictionalized as is most of the movie. Fatty is hosting his drunken house party and takes a girl back to his room where he rams a wine bottle in places where it doesn't belong. The girl dies seconds later and Fatty is busted wearing nothing but his pajama pants.

We also get drug use, some lesbian action, a nymphomaniac who takes on the whole football team in a sleazy gang bang. We also have a sadistic, perverted film director who enjoys filming orgies and then whipping his cast members. There is a pedophile who marries a 15 year old. Oral sex, murder and it is all done in sheer bad taste.

This one offers nothing new. Another tit flick from the golden age of trashy cinema. I would assume that Hollywood Blue is the better watch even though I am yet to see it. Stay away from this one unless you are a Ushi Digard fanatic or a huge Kenneth Anger fan. Even so I should warn you to be prepared to sleep it off.

Dracula (The Dirty Old Man) (1969)

Find a Dracula movie that is weirder then this one, I dare you! It amazes me how dumb people really are. If you have the patients to read anything anybody has ever said about this movie on IMDB.Com you would know what I mean. Apparently people have a hard time realizing that this movie is supposed to be funny.

Dracula (The Dirty Old Man) is exploitation at its best. When the final cut was finished and test screened the film makers must have buried their heads in their hands knowing that they have failed. Sure people might see it at the local drive inn but they most certainly are not going to like it. What to do? Flush the audio track down the fucking toilet and redub the film. Mock it the whole way through and make the people laugh. Woody Allen was very successful three years earlier with Whats Up Tiger Lilly and I'm sure that's where the producers grabbed their inspiration from and subconsciously they might have even thrown a little more proof that Woody was the inspiration because the narrator gives Dracula a thick Jewish accent.

The redubed version, which is the only one available tells the story of a man who is under Dracula's hypnotic influence. Dracula places a curse on him and turns him into a werewolf named Jackal-Man. Jackal-Man's orders are to go out and bring Dracula women. Lots of women. Dracula (Dirty Old Man) is a sexploitation film disguised as a monster flick. It is filled to the brim with naked female flesh. Bare breasts, butts, big bush and even bigger 60's underwear is on display for the next 80 minutes. There are even scenes that were obviously filmed after the fact, which do not fit into the already disjointed film in any possible way. Jackal-Man does indeed bring women to Dracula where they are fondled and then killed by the horny vampire. Jackal-Man goes out and gets some action himself from time to time. He rapes women with all of his clothes on. It is quite the site to see... A giant rat like werewolf grabbing naked women and thrusting in a not so erotic fashion.

We also get a bit of gore as if this movie wasn't weird enough. We really needed a vampire, werewolf, sexploitation, comedy filled with gore didn't we?

The truth is that this movie is still a pretty rough sit even with the comedic audio track. Sure it has some very funny moments but it still drags along at a very evil pace.

For a better time with redubed horror flicks check out Revenge Of The Sun Demon. That one is funny as hell. The Hideous Sun Demon was a stand up monster flick on its own so you can't go wrong with that one. Still Dracula (Dirty Old Man) does hold a certain charm for all you demento's out there who collect totally bizarre novelty flicks. Its worth seeing at least once for its strangeness if nothing else.

The Adult Version Of Jekyll And Hyde (1972)

All the tasteless motivation was here to make a great sexploitation film but somewhere along the line this one falls short.

Dr. Jekyll steps into a junk shop with his bride to be. He notices a book on a shelf and quickly rushes his girl out of the store like a true weirdo. Latter that night he stops back at the junk shop and kills the owner and runs off with the book. With a private dick hot on his trail Dr. Jekyll reads the book and puts together a concoction that will transform him into a sexy big breasted blond. Naturally the first thing to do is masturbate and secondly go on a murdering and rape filled rampage. In one of the best scenes the female version of Dr. Jekyll or Hyde if you will... hooks up with a violent sailor. Does this make him gay? Anyway I guess the sex wasn't all that good or maybe the Dr. knew he couldn't live down the fact that he fucked a man because Mrs. Hyde chops off the mans willy with a pocket knife.

Speaking of male nudity The Adult Version Of Jekyll And Hyde comes complete with what might be the worlds smallest penis in 70's cinema. Yep our main character bares it all and when I say all well, lets just except it for what it is. To make up for this pornstar Rene Bond does a lot of fucking and I suppose that makes the film a bit easier to sit through. She treats us to shower scenes, lesbian scenes and basically any other excuse she can find to take off her clothes.

This one comes complete with strangulation, violent roughie style whipping scenes, a fire poker to the vagina, achy breaky skulls are smashed in with blunt objects, suicide window-leaping in true Reefer Madness fashion, castration and plenty of male and female naked bodies.

Only for the true roughie/sexploitation audience. Very slow but trashy enough to keep the attention of demento's!

Terrifying Girls High School : Lynch Law Classroom (1973)

This is a very strange Pinku film. Its basically a women in prison movie with a school for delinquents instead of an actual prison. It is extremely violent and holds no punches however it suffers a bit in the plot department.

From the director who gave us the amazing Pinku sleaze-fest Girl Boss Guerrilla we get more of the expected female delinquents on motorcycles but this one plays a less like a Yakuza film then it does a horror movie. There are definitely elements from the American Roughies with gratuitous nudity and of course torture. The story tells of three new delinquents who will be attending the "School Of Hope" where the punishment consists of horrible torture and even murder.

Luckily for us actress Miki Sugimoto from violent epics such as Zero Woman : Red Handcuffs, Criminal Woman : Killing Melody, Girl Boss Guerrilla and many more plays our lead delinquent Noriko and is on yet another path of vengeance. When Noriko learns that a fellow gang member was tortured to death in The School For Hope she swears to kill the group of fascist bitches who were responsible. We are treated to plenty of naked Japanese women and of course all the violent stuff that is expected from a Pinku Violence film. In one of the most disturbing scenes a girl has a red hot light buld shoved up her vagina and is forced to do push ups. Another one offers some humiliation and public urination in the same vain as Last House On The Left which came out one year earlier and I'm sure influenced this Japanese flick. We also have a political statement going on about the corruption of Japanese politicians and mainly the police. I find it amazing that one of the most disciplined countries is able to release such rebellious art. In the films climax we get a revolution lead by the high school girls. They take over the school, run amok and go to war with the police.

Terrifying Girls High School suffers a bit with the numerous subplots. We have a greedy reporter trying to blackmail the school board and politicians. This really doesn't add any depth to the film. In fact it hurts it in a way and takes away from what is really going on. Still it is a fun watch and well worth the buy for anyone who is into this brand of trashy Japanese cinema.

Criminal Woman : Killing Melody (1973)

This Pinku Violence movie plays somewhere between a Women In Prison movie and a classic revenge tale in exploitation. Maki is our lead bad-ass female, who is imprisoned for slashing the face of a Yakuza member who is part of the clan that was responsible for her fathers death.

The prison scenes are very reminiscent of the Scorpion : Female Prisoner movies with gratuitous fight scenes and of course the tearing of clothing to show off some naked flesh which is expected from the genre with movies like The Big Doll House and Caged Heat. The unforgettable knife fight scene between Maki and a rival prisoner has to be seen to be believed. The two women hold a rope in their teeth and slash at each other with a broken shard of glass. The object being that if the opponent screams and the rope falls from her teeth she is of course the loser. This scene runs really long at what seems close to ten minutes but is well worth the time.

Between bare breasted cat-fights Maki shares stories with the other delinquent prisoners and we get a bit of back story on each. Maki also plans on finishing what she started and acting out her vengeance against the Yakuza clan that killed her father. She plots out an elaborate plan of attack to destroy the gangsters. The plan is to kill one important gangster and make it look like an assassination which will start an inner conflict and they will kill themselves off. Then the pickings will be slim and Maki can take the boss and the big men out on her own. Now that's a cool fucking plot!

Maki teams up with three fellow delinquent girls from the neighborhood to help her on her path of revenge. We do get our share of nudity but personally I feel we could have had more. The most blatant sexual scene is a bondage S&M scene that reminds me of a cross between De Palma's Scareface and Girl Boss Guerrilla. Maki is stripped nude and bound with rope. She is beaten for information but when she doesn't speak even when a ruthless Yakuza member gets a bit chainsaw happy. Might I point out that this film came out one year before the classic Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Criminal Woman : Killing Melody comes complete with stabbings, slashings, bad-ass shoot em up scenes, tits & ass, tattooed Yakuza bitches, police officers have their achy-breaky skulls smashed with beer bottles, chainsaw-fu (complete with violence towards mannequins, burning cigarettes to the nipple and much more ridiculous Japanese mayhem all done in Pinku bad taste.

A must see for exploitation fans and lovers of female fatal's!

Zero In And Scream (1971)

Lee Frost is always good for some classic exploitation in bad taste. The director is responsible for such filthy titles as House On Bare Mountain, The Black Gestapo, the great Defilers which he teamed up with fellow exploiteer David Friedman, The Thing With Two Heads, Love Camp 7, Ride Hard Ride Wild and many more.

Zero In And Scream however is not one of the better films from the director. Sure it is sleazy. Sure it was rated X. Sure it was done in pure bad taste, the way way the exploitation gods intended it to be but unfortunately this doesn't save Zero In And Scream from being a big bore.

The truth is Zero In is one of the worst movies I have seen in a very long time and it is a pretty painful sit. It follows a pervert serial killer who uses his high powered rifle as a weapon of choice. He likes to Zero In on couples having sex and pulls the trigger on the man. This of course is just an excuse to show lots of full frontal female and male nudity alike. The sex eats up the majority of the running time and the kills are pretty dull too. Another down side to this one is how quiet the film is. We have some music to fill the sex scenes but other then that there is barely any speaking. From time to time a news cast will update us on the sniper killer but other then that we get one long ranting from the killer where he shares his stupid ideas on women and how they should remain innocent.

It all comes together with a really bad twist ending that doesn't make any sense and will leave you scratching your head and wondering why you do this to yourself. Stay away from this movie unless you enjoy torturing yourself.

The Female : Seventy Times Seven (1962)

The Female is an earlier work from Argentinian sex symbol Isabel Sarli. It can be found on a double feature dvd from Something Weird Video with the far superior and sexy Fuego. Fuego was my introduction to the beautiful, busty brunette from Argentina and is still my favorite to date. Isabel Sarli having 30 some odd titles to her name and The Female not being a very good one.

Sexy-Sarli plays Cora a prostitute with a nasty scar running down her face. Man after man enters her room in the sleazy brothel which she works in. If you have money you can screw her but you can not kiss her. That will cost you extra. As Cora rolls around with one of her johns she looks up at hole in the celling. She is overly frightened of the hole and I couldn't help but think the Argentinian film makers were inspired by Roman Polanski's Repulsion. Obviously this is not the case considering The Female is three years older then the Polanski masterpiece. None the less The Female tries for something of an artsy-fartsy story but fails.

As other prostitutes in the brothel screw hairy men and suck man-toes in ultra sleazy scenes of sexploitive smut Cora stares up into the hole in the ceiling which takes her into her past. The rest of the film is told through a flashback and I have to admit it is quite the boring flashback.

Cora takes us back to a love triangle between herself and two men in the desert. The three are dying of thirst and dig a well. Cora eventually leaves the men for dead and has her face cut in the middle.

The Female offers up typical roughie style camera work that gives off the impression that the film was shot through a key hole. We get the almost required through the legs shots but it also offers some very nice looking cinematography at times. This is really the only positive thing you can say about the film aside from the trashy close up on toe sucking. The Female is virtually plotless and even worse then that it doesn't show off Isabel Sarli's finner aspects. We might get the occasional nip-slip here and there but there is no intentional nudity. The least they could have done was gave us more cleavage and underwear shots. On top of this the characters are dull as can be and the film might as well have been silent because there is very miminal diologue and not really any score to be heard. Just the sounds of wind and some horses. The Female is a bad example of art and should be avoided.

For a much sexier time with the queen of sex from Argentina check out Feugo. It doesn't disappoint.

She'll Do Alright (198?)

 A french maid (Julia Perrir) comes to America in this euro-trash flick to make some money and learn how to speak English. She is transferred from house to house until she meets John Leslie and falls in love. There is very little plot going on in this softcore pornographic comedy but She'll Do All Right still manages to be funny. With extremely sleazy characters and crazy shenanigans make this one a fast paced good time.

Julia Perrir looks great and she has a couple of really hot moments. One particularly in front of a mirror. I always love me some mirror porn. Then we have these wacky scenes of old people being pervy. An old man gets a tit job. Another old man lives with hundreds of cats and steals lingerie. Then we have an old couple who reads porno zines while screwing.

I have never seen the hardcore version of this movie and doubt it makes it much better. I do know it is part of an Uncle Farts 4 feature film set which also sports the unwatchable Involuntary Bird. Thank the pron-gods for filthy cartoons and rare little forgotten gems like this. Filled to the brim with artsy-fartsy euro-shots and plenty of hairy beaver. Its a smut-fest to entertain some friends with.

Involuntary Bird (1971)

Involuntary Bird is the worst of the worst. Virtually unwatchable. You are gonna need a room full of friends and an alcoholic beverage of choice to make it through this shit-fest. The print that I saw seems to be missing lots of footage (thank god) with a nonsensical plot and softcore sex scenes. There is an instrumental version of the song You Make Me So Very Happy and an instrumental version of a song from Hair. This thing can be found on Uncle Farts Dirty Movie Theater along with three other shitty movies. If it wasn't for the antics of Uncle Farts this movie just wouldn't serve a purpose at all. Similar to some of those Mystery Science Theater 3000 flicks.

Curse Of Her Flesh (1968)

This is the second film in Michael and Roberta Findlay's ultra trashy Flesh trilogy. In case if A Touch Of Her Flesh wasn't quite sleazy enough for you, feast your eyes on this sick! sick! sequel!

Michael Findlay is back yet again as the depraved misogynistic serial killer Richard Jennings. If you remember he correctly he lost his eye in the first film. So he is back as the eye patch killer and he is still pissed that he caught his wife cheating on him.

Women are trash and Jennings must rid the world of this filth. Naturally he runs a scummy strip club that offers up sleazy S&M shows complete with bondage and violent whippings. He also likes to roll around with naked babes on the couch in his best suit before killing them.

For those unfamiliar with the series, The Flesh Trilogy is amongst the sleaziest and meanest of all roughie sexploitation films, right up there in the ranks with the Olga movies.

Curse Of Her Flesh is a fine example of film making in bad taste. Its loaded with bare breasted 60's babes in big underwear. We also have lots of filthy dialogue. Add in some ultra violence and we have high entertainment right out of New York City's sewer. This movie should probably be avoided by feminists and politically correct drones alike. You are bound to be offended.

One of the weirdest scenes in the movie involves a women being probed with a giant vegetable. I am pretty sure it is a squash or something of the sort. The film comes complete with fine locations such as the bathroom which always manages to have the toilet bowl in frame. It really adds to the feel of the movie. We also get a movie within the movie and it involves a female genital operation. Then there is some machete violence and some insane laughter. Fans of this movie must be sure to see the third film in the series Kiss Of Her Flesh. It is the most grotesque in the whole series. Pure fucking filth!

Double Agent 73 (1974)

Doris Wishman (Nude On The Moon, Bad Girls Go To Hell) teams up with the heavy weight in breast yet again. That is Chesty Morgan. The two women did Deadly Weapons  together the same year and I guess the plan was to have an ongoing detective series with Mrs. Chesty. This of course being one of the worst ideas of all time considering after viewing Chesty in one movie the average pervert would be turned off for life. Never mind the fact that two movies would come out in the same year.

This time around Chesty Morgan is not suffocating her enemies with her melon heavy breasts. Nope, she has a camera installed into one of her tits and we get countless shots of her pressing, pushing and squeezing her utters. Naturally we get a cheesy sound effect that sounds like an old-time camera going off and presto... we have a movie.

This one actually offers up some more gruesome death since its not all suffocation scenes. It also offers up some of the strangest murder scenes ever. An evil nurse is strangled with a telephone wire. Another woman is stabbed to death in a shower scene that pays some serious homage to Psycho. Its almost identical to Hitchcock's classic shower scene with much more added breasts and blood. Next a man is blown to shit in a car explosion scene. The bomb comes in the form of lipstick. Then we get another gory scene where a man gets his face slashed up with a broken bottle but the weirdest moment in the whole movie is a scene where Chesty Morgan a.k.a. Double Agent 73 kills a man by stuffing ice cubes into his mouth. Death by ice cube?

Despite the fact that this movie surpasses Deadly Weapons in the gore department and over all weirdness, I think I still like D.W. (not Doris Wishman, Deadly Weapons) just a touch more. I find it to be just a hint more trashy.

My friends pointed out to me how miserable Chesty appears to be in Deadly Weapons and this is very true but if you think she looks depressed in that film, you just have to see her in Double Agent 73. She looks like she is constantly on the rag. She never smiles and she looks like she is either going to cry at any moment or smash the set up.

God I love Wishman! These flicks are so disturbingly unattractive and generally weird that you would have to be one boring son of a bitch to not enjoy them. Do yourself a favor and pick up the Something Weird Video double feature dvd. Chesty is waiting to torture you with her saggy breasts and her miserable face.

Bizarre (1970)

As you can tell by the poster above, this thing originally went under the title of Secrets Of Sex but I prefer the video title because Bizarre is exactly what we have here. Its one strange piece of cinema and if I didn't know any better that this thing came from England I would definitely believe that this is a movie from mars. I suppose we could always combine both titles and call it Bizarre Secrets Of Sex. I would say that title would suit it best.

Bizarre is not your run of the mill sexploitation flick. It was directed by Antony Balch who most would remember best for his Michael Gough slash-em-up flick Horror Hospital but he also did a bunch of really weird artsy-fartsy stuff like Towers Open fire and The Cut-Ups with William S. Burroughs. Those Burroughs flicks are really fucking Bizarre and doesn't make much sense for normal folk.

Bizarre on the other hand plays like a typical sexploitation flick from the 70's but throws in all the crazy hippie-dellic and artsy-fartsy stuff to keep it unique and separate it from the seemingly endless supply of nudie-cuties. First off Bizarre is an anthology film which in narrated by a thousand year old mummy. The mummy is fucking awesome and his appearance automatically makes Bizarre a strange watch but once he starts telling his stories the movie just gets weirder and weirder.

We get a crazy introduction to the sexes. That is male and female and the on going struggle that both sexes encounter throughout life. We get sexy Go-Go babes having rotten fruits and vegetables thrown at them from machine gun wielding men. The rotten fruits are smashed between their large breasts and their sexy go-go undies. The girls are packing straight razors and get us ready for some violent orgy action or at least for some of the madness that is in store for the viewer.

One of the better stories offers up some nasty S&M and tells of a man who is tortured by a female photographer and her sexy assistant who want realism in their photos. The man is chained up to a weighted device that pulls him down onto a sharp blade that cuts through his genitals. The man bleeds to death and the women get the photo they have been waiting for.

Another tells of a woman who carries a Bizarre genetic disease and gives birth to something that looks like a cross between the baby in Combat Shock and Eraserhead.

Then we have a story about a female cat burglar who breaks into a mans house and when caught bribes the man with a night full of sex and bathes. She of course blackmails the guy and gets away with the goods anyway. This story offers up some leather, whips and a hot brunette. Then theres a story about a female secret agent who gives plenty of up-skirt shots complete with white cotton panties.

Then we get another weird one about a woman who traps the souls of her ex-lovers inside plants. She of course waters them daily and speaks upon them with fond memory. She meats her fate with some strangulation in her own green house.      Perhaps the most Bizarre story in the whole movie follows a young hippie who calls for a prostitute and ends up in a strange parallel world filled with giant dinosaurs. Don't ask... Your guess is as good as mine. I'm not sure what it all means but I do know it all makes for a very strange watch and I wouldn't expect anything less from Antony Balch. Aside from how Bizarre it all is, Secrets Of Sex was done beautifully with some really interesting lighting, camera angels and sets alike. I would assume that the average Joe who went to see some quick tits and ass in the local smut-house was quite taken once this thing started rolling. 

Apparently upon its theatrical release Bizarre Secrets Of Sex was cut down by 9 minutes but fortunately for us it is available in its uncut form on dvd and I recommend picking yourself up a copy.
