Soul Vengeance (1975)

Here's a weird one from Jamaa Fanaka (Penitentiary). This twisted blaxploitation flick tells of a black man named Charles or "Brother Charles" who is apprehended by the white police and of course brutalized. They nearly beat him to death upon his capture and go as far as to castrate him.

Well at least they try to castrate him.?.? Once Brother Charles time is served he hits the streets and learns that his old bitches are being pimped by the new players in town. Brother Charles claims he is going to live a straight life without drugs and hookers but in reality he is planning his revenge on the scum that nearly took his manhood.

There is no doubt that Soul Vengeance also known as Welcome Home Brother Charles is a movie from mars but no matter how bizarre it is, the truth is its a pretty boring movie. This is amongst the earliest of Fanaka films and the ineptitude and the total lack of money really shows through and not necessarily in a very good way either.

Right off the bat the main character is supposed to be a ladies man but he is no Fred Williamson. I think Brother Charles has to be just about the ugliest man in blaxploitation history. The Hamburger Pimp in Dolemite is more likely to get some pussy then this dude. Then again whats in appearance?

Okay so this cat gets all the bitches and luckily for us that means we get some nudity. Not so lucky for us some of these girls look like Brother Charles with less facial hair. Yuck! We get some titty swinging at the local "Bottomless Bar" which isn't bottomless at all. We get some sweet, jive 70's jargon and some real smooth cats in some super-bad clothes. We have some of the worst white people in blaxploitation history and a ending that will shock your cock off.

Its never explained in great detail or even very clearly but apparently when the pigs tried to cut off Charles penis, they left it hanging on. For some reason while Charles was behind bars his rocket grew to abnormal size and he acts out his vengeance with his giant black wang. Brother Charles uses his giant garden hose of a cock to hypnotize the wives of the police who did him wrong. Then he strangles the cops with his penis and that's pretty much the whole movie.

If it wasn't for the final revenge scenes Soul Vengeance wouldn't be worth a dime. Add in some dead cops and strangulation by a vengeful penis and we have something worth watching. Maybe not more then once but I find it to be a nice little novelty amongst my stacks of tasteless exploitation flicks! This one reminded me of a blaxploitation version of Deadly Weapons. They would make an excellent double feature. Revenge through giant black cock and revenge through giant mellon heavy jugs. Genius!

True Grit (1969)

I broke a general rule in December when I watched the Coen Brothers remake of True Grit (2010) before seeing the original John Wayne classic. Finally a remake that holds up to the original.

The two films are very close. The Coen Brothers obviously chose to stick very true to the original Grit but just strengthen certain elements and add well... more Grit.''

I think I might even like the remake a touch more then the original 1969 film. Mainly due to how {PG} the John Wayne film comes off. Sure there is a bit of nastiness to it. Dennis Hopper's fingers are cut off in the most memorable scene. We also have stabbings and shootings but the Coen Brothers made the John Wayne character of Cogburn much more bad-ass. Wayne's portrayal of the one-eyed bounty hunter is a drunken, overweight rough-neck with a comedic side. While the Coen Brothers eliminated some of that goofiness and cut back on a bit of the sappy shit.

Seeing Dennis Hopper was a treat in its self. This was filmed the same year as Easy Rider and stuff like The Last Movie and American Dreamer were right around the corner. Robert Duvall also shows up as a bad guy named Ned Pepper. Duvall and Hopper were really the high points for me.

Another big difference between the two films is the ending. In the original after the young girl is bit by the rattle snake she is reunited with Cogburn and we leave with a happy ending. In the Coen Brothers version which apparently follows the novel a bit closer the girl loses her arm and never gets to thank Cogburn for saving her life. Leave it to the Coen Brothers to leave us with a downer ending.

Probably the best John Wayne film I have ever seen. Mainly due to the fact that he isn't playing the same exact character that he always plays. The two films are to close to really choose from but I think the Coen Brothers remake has a touch more replay value but "That's a bold statement for a one-eyed fat man".

The Invisible Man's Revenge (1944)

John Hall (Invisible Agent) plays the invisible man yet again. Of course the two films have no real connection as far as the plot or character goes but of course we feel compelled to compare them. I personally feel that this film is the weakest out of all of the Universal Studios Invisible Man flicks and that is mainly due to the lack of an interesting plot.

John Hall becomes invisible when he meets John Carradine who plays a mad scientist with the invisible serum. When Carradine learns that John Hall's character is a fugitive on the run he convinces him to become invisible. Of course the invisible man has no interest in science but will use his new invisibility to get revenge on everyone he feels has wronged him.

Unlike the original 1933 Invisible Man with Claude Rains, John Hall's character was already insane. In fact he murdered two people in a "Psychopath ward" with a kitchen knife. Now armed again with a sharp knife and invisible as well the man is ten times as dangerous. Carradine gets killed off by our invisible villain in a really cool scene involving a blood transfusion. The invisible man drains every last drop of blood from Carradine's body and then compares himself to Dracula (Which we all know was the Universal Studio flick that spawned all these great horror classics throughout the 30's & 40's).

Next Carradine's pet dog who was invisible in the beginning of the movie goes after the invisible man to avenge its owners death. Once the dog regains visibility it turns out to be nothing more then a German Shepard but when we couldn't see the pooch, it seemed to be the worlds scariest animal. None the less it was a pretty interesting twist to keep the invisible man on the run from an animal and pretty funny as well because John Hall's character fears no man but is terrified of Carradine's dog. For some added laughs watch for the string that is tied to the dogs fangs that pulls his head upwards for the howling-at-the-moon scenes. I know these invisible-man flicks are always jam packed with very visible strings but did they really have to go as far as to rig the dog up to one?

The Invisible Mans Revenge adds in the expected humor in a few scenes but for the most part is played very straight. I said it is the weakest film in the series but it is also a very strong series so its still a fun watch and better then most of the Universal Dracula and Frankenstein sequels.  In other words, The Invisible Mans Revenge is still worth a watch for fans of the series.

Deadly Weapons (1974)

Rest in peace Doris Wishman. The world will never know another quite like you. Female exploiter Doris Wishman is remembered for many of her oddities like Nude On The Moon and Another Day Another Man. This is another that comes to mind when I think of the lunacy of Doris Wishman flicks.

There were a lot of very unattractive sexploitation films in the 70's but this one really takes the cake. It stars Chesty Morgan, the girl with a 73 inch bust and these swinging utters will definitely grab the attention from anyone watching but may also cause nausea. Chesty struts around in some of the most un-sexy outfits to ever hit celluloid. Even the opening credits which were shot through strange fishbowl lenses and through round mirrors is an almost immediate warning that Deadly Weapons is going to be a journey into the weird and I'm sure all the twisted perverts in the theater seats zipped their pants back up knowing that there will not be anything sexually stimulating about this movie. Just wait till you see Chesty walking around in her giant pantyhose with breast-a-swinging.

With that said Deadly Weapons is high entertainment for anybody who loves the strange days of cinematic exploitation. Chesty seeks revenge on some lowlife mobsters who knock off her boyfriend with a knife to the guts. The scene does offer up a bit of the red stuff for all you gore hounds out there but that is the extent of bloodletting that you will get from this 70's sickie. It just so happens that Chesty's weapon of choice is her giant breasts. She suffocates the bad guys with their face between her jugs. What an awful way to go!

As if this isn't cool enough we also get Dr. Deep Throat himself. Mr. Harry Reems as one of the mobsters who meets his fate within the cleavage of Mrs. Morgan. Deadly Weapons would be unleashed only one year after The Devil In Miss Jones and Reems is great as usual.
His mustache appears to be slightly bigger then normal and he even plays with it on film, so keep an eye out for that.

Aside from Reems we also have a mobster with an eye patch who they call captain hook. If only he had a peg-leg then we would really be in business.

Another nice addition is the fact that Deadly Weapons shares the same soundtrack as Torso, the great Italian, euro-trash, giallo about a "Psycho-Sexual-Mind" who roams the streets of Italy and strangles beautiful women with a scarf and then saws into their naked bodies. Unfortunately D.W. doesn't have any dismemberment and perhaps that's why Chesty looks so miserable through the whole film.

I on the other hand love this movie and smile the whole way through. Check it out for heavy melons with invisible nipples and some yucky 70's underwear. This thing was shot back to back with Double Agent 73 another Wishman & Morgan collaboration. I wonder if Chesty smiles in that one.

Freaks (1932)

Anybody who is interested in exploitation movies should be familiar with this timeless cult classic and anybody who is interested in seeing these types of films might as well get their start here. After all Freaks is kind of the grandaddy of exploitation films.

Director Tod Browning who is remembered by most for Dracula with Bela Lagosi which was released one year prior to Freaks, is the man responsible for Freaks. He was introduced to the script from Harry Earls (A dwarf) who played besides Lon Chaney as a mobster who posses as a baby in Brownings The Unholy Three. Browning naturally being drawn to carnival life, freak-shows and physical human abnormalities excepted the job and set out to make one of the most important cult films of all time.

An earlier Tod Browning/Lon Chaney calibration dealt with carnival folk, love and murder. The film of course being Alanzo The Armless also known as The Unknown which was praised by some and appalled others but the main difference was that Browning was in his comfort zone of the silent era. The director was not a fan of the brand new talkies and would have preferred even Dracula to have been a silent film but this was no longer an option for a Hollywood director. The talking pictures have arrived and so will Freaks.

The outcome was a masterpiece in the macabre. Naturally it was hated. The world wasn't quite ready for this brand of exploitative cinema and the movie was banned for three decades, not seeing the light of day till the 60's with the hip generation & art-house Beatniks looking for new (or old) kicks in a cinematic light.

Freaks tells the tale of a dwarf named Hans who is manipulated into marrying a big women. Hans becomes the laughing stock to the entire circus and worse yet he is being poisoned little by little by his greedy wife who wants to get her hands on the little mans fortune. Hans eventually catches on and with the help of the other Freaks he gets his revenge on his wife and her secret lover Hercules. (They call him Hercules because he is "The Strong Man" of the circus). Aside from dwarfs, Freaks makes a spectacle of Pinheads, human skeletons, Siamese twins, hermaphrodites, retards, a man with no lower half of his body (known as the Torso), and a man with no limbs known as the human worm.

The movie was blamed for being cruel and condemned by its reviews. Aren't horror movies supposed to be cruel? Looking back at how unfairly Freaks was treated its amazing to see how backwards we have always been as a society. Its almost as if the people were angry that the Freaks were not made out to be the bad guys. Sure they kill a couple of people but they kill very bad people. On the other hand America was perfectly fine with Dracula seducing and killing innocent women.

Freaks which runs at 61 minutes was cut down to as much as a 30 minute version before it became banned. Tod Browning originally intended for a much more violent film. For me Freaks is perfect just the way it is but it would have been nice to see it the way Browning wanted it to be seen. Unfortunately Freaks is the film to blame for putting the genius director on the unemployment line. He would direct one or two more films but nobody would give him a break. After all he was the man who offended everybody with his tale of humanity and sympathy.

Anybody who has ever seen Freaks remembers Freaks. Its not the kind of movie that can be forgotten or ignored. If extreme cinema is your thing, be sure to give this one a watch. You wont regret or forget!

True Grit (2010)

I recently broke a general rule that the average cinemaniac lives by when I watched a remake before seeing the original. I did this for a few reasons, the first being that the original 1969 film is a John Wayne movie and I personally have never been a big J.W. fan. As a young kid my grandfather used to watch John Wayne movies on the regular and I was just bored out of my mind. Now that I am older I am still bored by old J.W. and prefer the Italian spaghetti westerns and of course Clint Eastwood. On the other hand I have a certain interest in the Coen brothers (No Country For Old Men, Blood Simple). So naturally I gave the 2010 remake the first chance but now I feel the need to go and watch the John Wayne version and compare notes.

The Coen brothers take on True Grit starts off a bit slow with its main focus on a 14 year old girl named Mattie Ross whom sets out to avenge her fathers death with the help of a one eyed bounty hunter named Cogburn (Jeff Bridges). Cogburn and the young girl are joined by a good old boy Texas Ranger named LaBouef played by Hollywood-boy Matt Damon. Matt Damon's character sucks of course and all the entertainment comes from the one eyed Cogburn. Cogburn is a rude & crude, drunkard, killing machine and he has one hell of a voice. I highly doubt John Wayne's character is even half as cool.

In the most memorable scene Cogburn chops a mans fingers off, shoots his friend dead in the head and then leaves the fingerless man bleeding to death with a knife stuck in his chest. We also have an awesome shoot-out on horse back, a typical western target practice scene, some Cobra-snake-fu, gratuitous child kicking, Teeth being ripped out of bleeding mouths, public hangings and a typical anticlimactic Coen brothers ending.

Not a bad flick for a modern western and worth a watch for Coen brothers fans.

Rolling Thunder (1977)

Is it just me or does that poster remind you a bit of Taxi Driver? Well that might have something to do with the marketing direction. After all this nasty tale of revenge was written by the great Paul Shrader, the same man who thought Taxi Driver up. In the two following years Shrader would write Blue Collar and Hardcore with George C. Scott. Shrader's writing from this error always deals with great characters and great tragedy.

Rolling Thunder is no exception to the rule. This one tells of a Vietnam war hero who returns home from years of being held captive as a prisoner of war. He can't quite shake the awful memory of being beaten daily and anybody familiar with these types of movies knows that this thing is heading down a pretty nasty path.

Things really change for the worse when a group of scumbags break into our anti-hero's home and stick his hand in the garbage disposal. Next they shoot his wife and son and leave him to bleed to death with a bullet buried in his guts. Luckily for us and to bad for them our war veteran doesn't die and with a hook for a hand he goes on a bloody rampage of vengeance with hand guns and sawed off shotguns.

Linda Haynes from Coffy and Human Experiments follows our hook-hand, gun-wielding, hero down his path of revenge until things get really nasty. That's where Tommy Lee Jones picks up the slack as fellow war buddy who is happy to fill some bad guys full of shotgun slugs for an old friend. Together the war partners create a whore house massacre. Bullets go flying and so do the bodies.

Rolling Thunder plays like a cross between Death Wish and Taxi Driver. Its a bit slow at times but still a damn good watch. The Exterminator would probably be a perfect second feature for this thing in a theater but instead I got Godzilla VS. Mechagodzilla. It was a theatrical experience I don't think I will forget.

Straw Dogs (1971)

Cinema rebel, Sam Peckinpah delivers this classic tale of rape revenge right in the height of his career. Pecikinpah proved two years earlier with The Wild Bunch that he can build and build suspense and then deliver the nasty goods with a bang. He succeeds once again!.

Wes Craven's cult classic Last House On The Left would follow in the next year and the Death Wish wouldn't hit screens for another three. Of course this genre of film has already been toyed with but perhaps Sam Peckinpah is once again under credited by genre fans.

Straw Dogs casts Hollywood lame-o Dustin Hoffman as a wimpy American married to a British women played by the incredibly hot and stylized actress Susan George (Die Screaming Marianne, Dirty Mary Crazy Larry). The couple move to a back woods shack in the middle of nowhere England and have more to deal with then relationship issues. Dustin Hoffman's character is a weak coward who runs from everything and avoids confrontation and Susan George has had enough of it. Ms. George looks as good as can be and the local pervy, lowlifes have some nasty plans for her.

In Susan George's introduction the camera zooms in on her chest and her erect nipples poke through her sweater for all to see. She complains that the men in the village are undressing her with their eyes, as is the male audience. Her husband warns her to wear a bra when out in public and she ignores him. Peckinpah chooses a voyeuristic style of shooting her scenes. For instance, when she gets out of her car the camera gives a glimpse up her skirt, leaving the audience wondering if this is just carelessness on her part or if she enjoys taunting the men around her. Its not long before she is standing in front of her window with her beautiful bare breasts exposed, as the men stare in at her we suddenly realize that this is all going to end very badly.

The men become more aggressive and go as far as to kill the couples cat and hang it from a noose in a closet. Of course Hoffman is to much of a pussy to confront the men that did it and this shows them that they can walk all over this man and do what they want. Susan George is raped by two of the local scum and the rape scene is also open to suggestion because it seems to weave in and out of what is a mean spirited, violent experience to something that Susan George seems to enjoy at times. Eventually the rapists and three of their friends accidentally shoot the towns sheriff in a angry drunken stupor. Hoffman and George were witness to the brutal killing and the couple finds themselves fighting off a home invasion from the five drunk rapists and murders. Hoffman's character shifts gears once his life is threatened and kills the whole lot of them.

What Straw Dogs has in store for us next is some boiling vegetable oil to the face. A head caught in a bear trap, a stabbing, achy-breaky skulls are smashed with blunt instruments, a man has his foot blown off with a shotgun and another has his guts blown apart. We also have a pervy village retard named Henry who strangles a young girl in a barn.

Although Straw Dogs isn't quite an exploitation film. Fans of this type of extreme cinema are bound to love it. From the nasty rape scenes to the dead cat in the closet, the violent vengeance and not to mention the dead cop, Straw Dogs is another example of amazing renegade film making from Sam Peckinpah. Of course Hollywood has their greedy little hands on this title as well and the remake is due for release any day now. I doubt it will ever come anywhere near the original and I'm sure Peckinpah would be turning over in his grave. Until we have another outlaw director who likes to piss on the buildings of the executive producers, Straw Dogs will always remain king.

Tenement (1985)

Michael and Roberta Findlay were making some of the trashiest exploitation flicks from the mid. 60's through the late 70's. Their filmography ranged from sexploitation sleaze-fests with titles such as Touch Of Her Flesh and Curse Of Her Flesh to schlock horror such as Shriek Of The Mutilated and the cult classic Snuff. After the tragic death of Michael Findlay in 1977 Roberta continued making movies, leaving us a path of cinematic trash. Tenement being one of her best.

Tenement, also known as Game Of Survival and Slaughter In The South Bronx follows a violent street gang from... Well the Bronx. The gang which consists of some actual South Bronx gangsters and junkies along with actors such as Paul Calderon who would go on to do King Of New York and Dan Snow who most would remember as Cigar Face from The Toxic Avenger... Anyway this leather clad gang of punks declares war on the helpless people who live in a Tenement. The tenants within consist of a blind man, a pregnant woman, senior citizens, a fat drunk, women and children. They don't stand much of a chance against these city street punks who armed with guns, knives, chains and are flying high on p.c.p. but they fight till the end and it makes for one hell of a nasty watch.

One women is gang raped by the gang and is killed with a broomstick to the vagina. Another old women has her throat cut with a straight razor and then is necromanced by a ruthless gang member. We get a pair of scissors through the eyes, a German Shepard is gutted, penis wounds (complete with a baseball bat to the penis and a knife through the penis), gun wounds, some hatchet-fu, death by electrocution, a rat is impaled on a switchblade and then shoved into a mouth, third degree burns from boiling pots of water, a women is crushed by a falling refrigerator, metal rod through the guts, rat poison disguised as heroin overdose (complete with spasm and a bit of blood), gory stabbings, strangulation, death from 5th floor window (complete with achy-breaky skulls to the pavement) and some bare breasts for added entertainment.

The body count is pretty high in this movie and just about everybody dies in original and violent ways. I have heard people compare Tenement to Troma movies and I can see where they are coming from at times but on the other hand Tenements level of violence is much more serious then something like Class Of Nuke Em High or something like that.

Roberta Findlay would later go on to do Prime Evil and the horrible Blood Sisters. My personal favorite of hers is a 70's  porn flick called Dear Pam which if you can find on video is well worth the money. Tenement is another example of Roberta Findlay's sleaze-genius and is highly recommended for fans of over the top violent revenge flicks. It holds no punches and makes no apologies. Check it out!

Perversion (1979)

Director, Jose Mojica Marins or better known in America as Coffin Joe takes a bite at the Rape/Revenge genre with typical Coffin Joe social message and rebellious undertones. Marins plays a very rich and very powerful socialite with some very sinister ways. In the films opening we see Marins rape a virgin and then bite her nipple off. Marins is brought to court and of course wins because of his money and powerful friends within the legal system (sounds just like real life) but he is not contempt with winning his case. Instead he flaunts his power around and gains even more controversy and even respect from the townspeople. The rape victim is harassed and tormented and almost driven to insanity. Then the movie slows down to the point where it is almost painful and the corruption of power theme is beaten into our brains repeatedly.

We get some naked flesh from a few women and Coffin Joe himself bares quite a bit in semi disturbing scenes of him in tight underwear or bathing suits. The man is a true renegade and its obvious he doesn't mind being a vile villain yet again because his character is so hated in this movie. He mocks his own beer belly within the film and when he removes clothing the actors are usually appalled as are we, the viewer.

Perversion also known as Rape ends with a nasty castration, that I personally saw coming from a mile away. Coffin Joe loses his penis in a sex scene and the weapon of choice was a gialo style straight razor. Seeing Marins stand totally naked and screaming in slow motion as blood spews from his dismembered penis is amusing and yet disturbing at the same time. Of course Perversion can't be compared to Coffin Joe's early work like At Midnight Ill Take Your Soul but its still a decent time passer for true fans.

Forced Entry (1975)

Not to be confused with the 1973 Shaun Costello film with the same title this Rape/Revenge flick stars Tonya Roberts from Tourist Trap as the victim of sex maniac named Carl. Carl is a grease monkey at a shit hole gas station. He has long hair, a thick Brooklyn accent, is usually covered in oil and has some serious mommy issues. He also has some very strange ideas about love. He fantasises about the perfect woman but when he meets them he usually just rapes and murders them. "Whores... I hate whores!"

A friend of mine once said that Forced Entry (1975) plays like a made for television movie with a real nasty subject matter. I could almost agree with them in the sense that Forced Entry isn't overly graphic. It shows a bit of tit and the murder scenes are really pretty quick with the exception of one kinda nasty stabbing.

The thing that makes Forced Entry so great isn't the brutality of the film it is simply the monologue. Its one of those great 70's movies where we spend most of our time inside the killers head. Similar to movies like Taxi Driver and Maniac (1980). Like Travis Bickle and Frank Zito, Carl is very disturbed but at times you can't help but laugh through some of his psychotic monologue. In one of my favorite scenes we hear Carl's thoughts on breakfast. "Every morning I eat my Puffs with some milk and it Puffs a man up in all the right places and gets him ready for his day". Even during the rape scenes we hear Carl's insane philosophy about his victims. "I can't do it right with all that screaming and crying". It seems like Carl can never do it right and despite is daily Puffs intake his penis issues usually always results in murder.

Check out Forced Entry for another rape-revenge sickie from the sleazy 70's. Its a good time with some memorable quotes and the ending doesn't disappoint.

The Taking Of Christina (1976)

The Taking Of Christina is another 70's sickie from director Armand Weston (Defiance Of Good). This one is a rape/revenge flick that is supposed to be based on a true story. True or not its an awesome flick with ultra violence, rape and of course hardcore XXX sex.
Virginal Christina is only days away from her wedding when she is abducted by two ex convicts. She is raped and beaten by these two scumbags but in time she almost seems to be enjoying it.She convinces the traveling criminals to take her with them and she leads them into a trap of revenge that ends with a bloody mess in the snow.
Like Defiance Of Good, you really can see the talent behind this thing. The Taking Of Christina is not just your average smut flick. We get nice camera work with depressing music and we even get a decent actor here and there. Right from the beginning of the movie its obvious that this thing is going to end in tragedy and fortunately for us it does. It ends with a shotgun blast to the face. One of our rapists even has his penis blown off with a exploding crotch squib. Another man is stabbed to death and Charles Bronson even appears in a sex scene in a giant poster on the wall. Bronson's mustache and wrinkly face is exactly what the people need during a filthy orgy.
I watched this one with a bunch of friends and everyone was cheering on the penis-wound revenge scene and of course Bronson's big appearance in a 70's porn flick. This just goes to show that adult cinema was and still should be so much better then the crap that these money hungry rapists put out today. Grab a few friends and a few cold ones and check this one out for a filthy good time.

The Tormentors (1974)

The director that gave us garbage like The Mighty Gorga and Monsters Crash The Pajama Party takes a chance on a Biker Exploitation film. Good thing he chose such a undemanding genre because The Tormentors (as usual) is a total piece of trash.
After a man learns that his girlfriend was raped and killed by a neo nazi, biker gang he chooses to find his way into the gang with one thing on his mind... Kill Kemp, the leader of the gang. If that's not a weak-ass regurgitated plot, I don't know what is. The Tormentors is a mess of a movie and its completely unintentionally hilarious. Lovers of bad movies might enjoy this one to a certain degree but I on the other hand found it to be lame, boring and a weak exploitation flick.
The gang itself goes by the name of the fourth riche and theres only four of these clowns including Kemp the leader, Yet for some reason in one scene they threw in a few extras in the janitor suits with the swastika armbands. Its pretty confusing in the movie and it just makes you wish there really were more gang members. This however is not as confusing as the constant change in accents. Kemp has a thick German accent in some scenes and then in others he speaks like a street kid from New York. Kemp isn't the only one who changes his accent either. We have some other loser who has a thick southern accent one minute and then sounds like a Yankee the next. Then we get this really embarrassing scene involving a bazooka. One of the Nazi bikers points a bazooka at a cop car and pulls the trigger. We hear a bang and then the film cuts to the cop car with a bunch of guys laying down next to the cop car but the car just has its hood open with a bit of steam coming off the engine, signifying that the car was hit with the rocket. What the hell is that? They couldn't even set a small fire on the car to attempt to make the scene believable? They really want me to believe that these guys were thrown from the cop car and there is no damage done to the vehicle? Well I didn't buy it and that scene pissed me off so bad that I couldn't even laugh. We get one inept scene after another and after a while it gets a bit old. The film also includes one soft (very soft) rape scene and a strangulation by Swastika armband. Some pretty girls running around in Nazi uniforms, the slightest bit of nudity, gratuitous hippie dancing, a Jesus who goes to jail and some very tame torture. Don't waste you're time on this one. There are plenty of Swastika clad biker gang films out there and this one just doesn't cut it. Ill take Born Losers over The Tormentors any day.

Entrails Of A Beautiful Woman (1986)

Entrails Of A Beautiful Woman also know as Guts Of A Beauty is the ultra perverse follow up to Entrails Of A Virgin or Guts Of A Virgin. The sequel surpasses the first film on every level and gets so high up on the sleaze-o-meter that a shower is strongly recommended after each viewing. This truly is a sick flick in every sense of the word sick. What we get is a 68 minute sit through of extremely graphic sex, rape and over the top gore & violence.
Trash cinema fanatics like myself couldn't ask for much more. Although the pubic hair law was still in full affect in 1986 Guts Of A Beauty has some pretty erotic scenes with a almost believable fake penis blow job scene and flying sperm. The only thing is its a bit hard to recover from the brutality of the rape scenes in time to enjoy a sex scene. In that way, Entrails totally rapes the senses and can only be enjoyed by the toughest most jaded of viewers.

Guts Of A Beauty becomes one of the most warped rape/revenge films I have ever seen. Aside from some genitals and pubic hair the camera holds nothing back in the nasty rape scenes. We get blood running down the rape victims legs and some nasty stains on the mattress.
The story is basically about a girl who is drugged and raped by a Yakuza gang. The girl manages to escape to a hospital where she commits suicide in front of a female doctor. The doctor decides to avenge the dead girl by killing off the Yakuza but things don't go the way the doctor planned and she finds her self in the very same situation, being drugged, raped and murdered. Some how the dead doctor comes back as a disgusting bloody mess of a monster with a mutant penis with some sharp teeth and a giant gaping vagina.
The monster looks like a cross between Pumpkinhead and skinless Frank from Hellraiser. The monster kills off Yakuza gang members one by one in various perverse and gory ways. One girl is raped with the sharp toothed penis and the mutant pecker pops through her chest like a monster out of Alien. Another guy has his face shoved up the hermaphroditic monsters vagina and he suffocates. When his head is removed from the monstrous-vag he is covered in a thick steaming slime. One guy is shot and then has a rod shoved into the bullet wound. Next he is chained to a wall and chopped to pieces. The most impressive gore scene is probably when a guy gets half decapitated. Its a god damn bloody mess.
